Karen Marie Trembley, 85, of McGregor, formerly of Richfield, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Golden Horizons in Aitkin. She was born April 11, 1940, in Delavan to Alfred and Ruth (Pagel) Anderson.
Karen was united in marriage to Joseph Trembley on July 17, 1957 in Delavan, and together they built a life centered around family, friendships, and time spent enjoying things that brought her happiness. Karen had a gift for bringing people together and loved entertaining family and friends. She especially enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada, playing cards, boating, and creating memories with those she loved. Above all, Karen treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Karen was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and always looked forward to the laughter, friendship, and special moments she shared with the ladies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her parents; her brother, Jerry Anderson; and her son-in-law, Doug Ehrreich.
Karen is survived by her children: Debbie Ehrreich; Darwin (Debbie) Trembley; Dawn (Tom) Johnson; Denise (Roger) Nordlocken; and Danette Trembley; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Judy Frankcamp; her aunt, Mary Lazerine; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 20, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor with Father Keith Bertram officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. Graveside Services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Delavan on Thursday, April 9th at 1 PM.
