Karleen Merona (Holm) Bleeker (Fossum)

Karleen Merona Bleeker (Fossum), 77, of Aitkin, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Aicota Health Care Center, Aitkin.  Karleen was born September 15, 1942 in Aitkin to Marius and Vivian (Lehrke) Holm.  She graduated from Aitkin High School.  Karleen worked at Aicota Health Care Center for 38 years and the 40 Club Restaurant for 25 years.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Aitkin.  Karleen enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and especially spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Karleen is preceded in death by her parents, Marius and Vivian Holm and the father of her children, Roger Bleeker; sister, Jeanette Landrus.

Karleen is survived by her children, Mark (Lynn) Bleeker, Mike (Sue) Bleeker, Tracy Weston and Penny (Mike) Connoy; grandchildren, Amy Young, Jesse Young, Nicole Wood, Amanda Webber, Dan Bleeker, Melissa Heavirland, Kyle Bleeker and Lauren Huset; great grandchildren, Parker, Kylee, McKenzie, Presley, Deydriana, Connor, Everly, Violet, Florence, Jesse Junior, Charlie, Ashlyn, Alice, Felix and Sam; brother, Dale (Karen) Holm; sister, Diana (Vernon) Backstrom.

Services will be Saturday, August 1st at 11 AM in St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor David Becker officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Waukenabo Cemetery, Waukenabo Township, Aitkin County.  To leave an online condolence, go to:  www.srtfuneral.com.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
