Kathryn Lou Harrison, 90 of Palisade, died Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at her home. She was born June 22, 1935 in Owatonna, the daughter of Harry and Lucille (MacArthur) Andrews. She graduated from Shattuck-St. Mary’s School in Faribault. She earned her R.N. Degree from Hamline University and worked as a nurse for 43 years. While working at the VA Hospital Kathryn met a patient named Bradley who became the love of her life. Kathryn (Andrews) was united in marriage to Bradley Harrison in August of 1962 in Millbank, SD. She loved living at the lake and taking care of her flowers. Her family and friends meant everything to her. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Lucille, and her husband Bradley in 2006.
Kathryn is survived by her sons: Bradley (Tom), Doug and Craig (Chauntel); Grandchildren: Chloe (Jason) and Sam; Great-grandson Myles; Brother James (Sharon) Andrews; and many nieces, nephews, other special relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
In Lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Hilltop Chapel in Palisade.
Funeral Service will be 11am – Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Hilltop Chapel, Palisade. Pastor Joel Holm will be the officiant. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Waukenabo Cemetery at a later date. Following the funeral service, lunch and fellowship will be held at the church.
