Keven C. Kezar, 69 of Aitkin passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at his home. He was born June 14, 1953 to Clarence and Inga (Moen) Kezar. He graduated from New Folden High School in 1971. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1971 until being honorably discharged in 1977. While in the Navy he was a Marine Mechanic stationed onboard nuclear submarines. He was awarded the Good Conduct Award, National Defense Service Medal, and the Battle efficiency Award while serving onboard the USS California. He attended Staples Vo-Tech to become a machinist. Keven was united in marriage to Carol Ann Schauer July 31, 1982 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Arlington. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Cedarbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Inga Kezar, son Douglas Kezar, brothers: Curtis Kezar and Harlan Kezar, sisters-in-law: Marlene Kezar and Darlene Kezar, brothers-in-law: Vernon Aune and Eugene Kargel.
Keven is survived by his wife Carol;
Children: Rebecca Nordgren, Ingrid Erdman, Katherine Kezar, and Jason Kezar; In-laws: Heath Nordgren, Matt Erdman, Ashley Kezar and Peggy Kezar; Grandchildren: Logan Vessey, Addie Anderly Gabe Nordgren, Lily Erdman, Emma Erdman, Violet Erdman, Hailee Coil, Haydance Coil, and Hunter Coil; Sisters: Florence Kargel, Vivian (Gerald) Hallin, Kathryn Aune, and LeAnn Ryan; Brothers: Donald Kezar, Richard (Vivian) Kezar, Irving (Peggy) Kezar, and Albert Kezar; And many other special relatives and friends who morn his passing.
Funeral Service will be 2pm – Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Saint John’s Lutheran Church at Cedarbrook. Pastor David Peterson will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Saint John’s Cemetery – Cedarbrook. Military honors will be accorded by Aitkin American Legion Lee Post #86 and Aitkin VFW Roberts Glad Post # 1727.
