Kristin Renee (Lyback) Opsal

Kristin Renee (Lyback) Opsal, 61 of Aitkin and formerly of Isle passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 in Aitkin.  She was born January 8, 1963 in Isle to Arden Richard and Delores (Berg) Lyback.  She graduated from Isle High School in 1981 and worked as a CNA, a job that she was very proud of and was very important to her. Kristin had a big heart and would put a smile on anyone’s face that was in her presence. She enjoyed taking care of her plants, playing “One Eyed Jacks”, and she loved spending time with her son Kyle.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son Elliot Fleischman, and brother Jody.

Kristin is survived by her son Kyle, brother Rustin Lyback, 2 sisters: Heidi Lyback and Shelly (Todd) Hammer, and many other special relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the 1pm – Monday, March 4, 2024 funeral service at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Aitkin with Pastor Dallas Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Opstead Cemetery at a later date.
