Leona Maxine (Harris) Chilstrom

Leona Maxine Chilstrom, 86, of Aitkin, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 in Rivers Edge Assisted Living, Aitkin.  Leona was born September 1, 1933 in St. Paul to Frank and Helen Harris. 

Leona was united in marriage to Norman Chilstrom on November 12, 1954 in St. Paul.  Leona was a member of the Aitkin American Legion Auxiliary Post #86 and Aitkin V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #1727.   Leona enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, listening to football and baseball games on the radio.  Leona will be remembered for her positive attitude and great sense of humor.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Leona is preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her parents; 1 brother and 1 sister.

Leona is survived by sisters-in-law, Darlene Shafer of Lindstrom and Shirley Chilstrom of Cambridge; nephews, David Chilstrom, Gary (Nancy) Chilstrom and their son, Andrew (Kay) Chilstrom and their daughter, Alesha Chilstrom; niece, Kimberlee (Rob) Rathsack; other relatives and many friends.
