Lois Mae (Dunn) Fultz

Lois Mae Fultz, age 77, of Palisade, passed away, Thursday, September 14, 2023.  Lois was born May 11, 1946 in Greenwood, Wisconsin to Russell and Marion (Bredesen) Dunn.  Lois grew up on a dairy farm in Greenwood, WI and was raised by her grandparents.  She was a graduate of Walsh College where she proudly received her Masters degree in Accounting.  She was a loving and dedicated wife to Kenneth Fultz, who together had three beautiful daughters who they cherished.  25 years ago, she moved to Palisade where she served her community thru activities with the township and her management role with the coop.  She enjoyed quilting, baking with her grandkids, playing piano, reading, gardening, planting her flower beds, and bailing hay.  She was a very proud farmer who adored her horses, goats, chickens and mostly her beloved dog Snuffy who was extremely loyal and by her side until the end.

Lois always found good qualities in people and no matter who you were she would always give you a chance. She was a very proud wife, mother, and grandmother and she never gave up on anyone in her family.  She was known for saying and living by these two words - Be Kind.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Lee Fultz and her parents.

Lois is survived by her 3 children, Diana Neumueller, Jamie Ladd, and Karen Fultz; 5 grandchildren, Raamar Smith, Ryan Smith, Desmond Drummer, Saydee Drummer and Woodrow Rian; 3 great grandchildren, Ryan Jr., Roderick and Davis Kenneth.  She is also survived by her siblings Samuel Dunn, Joseph Dunn. Mark Dunn, Lyn Carter and Dawn Wetch.
