Lucas “Luke” Robert Nelson, age 35 of Aitkin died Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Anoka County, Minnesota.

He is survived by his mother Colleen E. Nelson of Aitkin; Brothers: Nick Nelson and Blake Orr both of New Mexico; Aunts: Susan Nelson and Katherine Emanuel both of New Mexico; Nancy Nelson and Kelli Nelson both of Aitkin, Uncle Keith Nelson of Duluth, Mn. and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Altonwig, Grandparents John Nelson and Margie Richardson and uncle John Nelson.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
