Lyle Edward Carr

Lyle Edward Carr,81 of Aitkin passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 at St. Cloud Hospital in St.Cloud.  He was born January 11, 1943 in Minneapolis the son of Richard and Clara (Johnson) Carr.  He was a U.S. Army and U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.  Lyle was united in marriage to Linda Lou (Wharton) January 31, 1969 in Columbia Heights.  He worked as a Blacksmith for the city of Minneapolis.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Samuel Carr and sister Selma Ryan.  Lyle is survived by his wife Linda Carr of Aitkin; 2 sisters: Elverna Lawrence and Jeanette Hagedorn; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
