Margaret (Kemp) Skinner

Margaret Skinner, 83, of Aitkin, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Paynesville to William and Minnie (Mead) Kemp.  Margaret was united in marriage to Harlan Skinner on April 15, 1961 in Backus.  She was a member of Christian Women’s Luncheon and BI-CAP.  Margaret was also a Sunday School Teacher at Mildred Bible Chapel, Backus and later attended Journey North Church (Westside Church), Aitkin.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, quilting, playing cards, dancing, skiing, skating and hostessing family and friends.  Margaret especially loved time with her family.  Margaret was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was very dedicated to her family.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; brother, George Kemp; sisters, Edith Haugen and Violet Watkins.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Harlan Skinner of Aitkin; son, Andrew (Samantha) Skinner of Pine River; daughters, Threasa Orion of Pine River and Nalrah (Mike) McCormick of Hackensack; grandchildren, Cassandra Pryor, Elizabeth (Chris) Flier, Ryan Pryor, A.J. (Nicole) Skinner, Cody (Alexis) Skinner, Ella Skinner, Abby Skinner, Jorden (Joe) Thatcher, Threasa (Simon) Andrys, Debra (Andrew) Ralph and Janel Mathis; brother, Wilbur Kemp of Grove City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
