Mary Angela Leonard

Mary Angela Leonard, 68, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 at her home in McGrath after a long struggle with respiratory disease.  She was born August 12, 1956 in St. Paul to John and Lois (Capecchi) Leonard.  Mary loved northern Minnesota, where she lived her adult life and raised her beloved son, Joshua.  Like many, Mary faced and conquered many of life’s challenges, always without complaint and with a smile and her Irish wit. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lois (Capecchi) Leonard.

Mary is survived by her son Joshua, siblings Thomas (Karen) Leonard, Nancy, (Richard) Krahulec, Patricia (Kenneth) Ranweiler, Michael Leonard, Daniel (Catherine) Leonard, James (Brenda) Leonard, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends Sue Dehnel and Steve Dracy.
