Michaelene “Mickey” M. Williams, a beloved resident of Aitkin, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Riverwood Health Care Center in Aitkin. Born on September 29, 1950, in Webster, South Dakota, Mickey was the daughter of Theodore and Philomena (Wika) Zakrzewski. She graduated from Roslyn High School in South Dakota.
Mickey’s life was filled with love and dedication. She married Raymond Eugene Williams on August 6, 1970, in Milbank, South Dakota. For 36 years, she worked as a principal technician at Medtronic, where she made a significant impact in her field.
Outside of her professional life, Mickey found joy in various hobbies. She loved sewing, working with stained glass, playing cards, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her presence was cherished by all who knew her.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers. She is survived by her husband, Ray; three children: Kevin (Dina) Williams, Craig Williams, and Melissa Erickson; eight granddaughters; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
Mickey’s legacy will be remembered and cherished by her loved ones and friends for generations to come. Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
Memorial service will be 12:00pm – Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Aitkin. Pastor Ben Hollingsead will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Webster, South Dakota.
