Mildred Margaret Rose (Lueck) Paulson

Mildred “Millie” Margaret Rose Paulson, 90, of Aitkin passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 in Aicota Assisted Living, Aitkin.  She was born December 27, 1928 in Aitkin to Frederick and Rose (Schwab) Lueck.  Millie graduated from Aitkin High School.  She was united in marriage to Chester Martin Paulson on May 1, 1949 in Aitkin.  Millie was Office Manager for Aitkin Public Utilities.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Aitkin, V.F.W. Auxiliary and Riverwood Auxiliary.  Millie enjoyed playing cards, watching Twins baseball and other sports and especially spending time with her children and grandkids. 

Millie is preceded in death by her husband, Chester; her parents; daughter, Nancy; granddaughter, Samantha; son-in-law, Ken Anderson and eight siblings.

Millie is survived by 4 sons, Douglas (Deborah Adele) Paulson of Duluth, Charles (Patricia Hagen) Paulson of Annandale, Gregory (Carolyn) Paulson of Maple Grove and Donald (Barb) Paulson of Custer, South Dakota; 2 daughters, Carole (James Erickson) Paulson of Brainerd and Susan Anderson of Baxter; brother, Fritz (Betty) Lueck of Aitkin; special nephew, Mark Lueck; 9 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; many loved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be Thursday, June 27 at 11 AM in First Lutheran Church, Aitkin with Pastor Doug Larson officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Aitkin.  To sign the guestbook online, go to:  www.srtfuneral.com.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Riverwood Health Care Auxiliary, Twin Ports Ministry to Seafarers, or another cause dear to your heart.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Aitkin.
