Orville Wigton, Jr., 68, of Aitkin, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 at his home. He was born October 24, 1956 in Tyler to Orville and Darlette (Huebner) Wigton, Sr. Orville moved to the family farm in Lake Benton and graduated from Tyler High School. Orville was united in marriage to Roxy Appel on December 2, 1989 in Heron Lake. Orville worked construction at Hanson Stave Silos in Luverne, Paul A. Lawrence Co. in St. Paul, Johnson Brothers of Litchfield, Lunda Construction in River Falls, Wisconsin and Ames Construction of Burnsville. He enjoyed gardening, canning and spending time with his family.
Orville is preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Bernard and Donna Appel; sister, Gail Dahl.
Orville is survived by his loving wife, Roxy Wigton; son, Roy Bernard Wigton; siblings, Stan (Ann) Wigton, Les Wigton, Valerie Hulzebos and Connie (Quenton) Crow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
