Roger Alvin Nyberg

Roger Alvin Nyberg, 85, of Aitkin, passed away Saturday July 8, 2023 at Golden Horizons in Aitkin. He was born on February 10, 1938 in Aitkin to Ed and Vivian (Carlson) Nyberg.  He graduated from Aitkin High School in 1955. Roger was united in marriage to Virginia (Ginger) Pierce on November 5, 1958 in Aitkin. He worked as an electrician and owned and operated Nyberg Electric in Aitkin for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ginger, sister Rosie Johnson, brothers Edward, Clifford, Robert and Roy, sons Roger (Buddy) and Jerry, infant grandson Emmanuel Carabajal, numerous in-laws and his parents. 

Roger is survived by his children: Geni (Dan) Patrick of Aitkin, Steven Nyberg of Hopkins, MN, David (Karin) Nyberg of Farmington, MN, Keith (Angie) Nyberg of Fargo, ND, Shannon (Michael) Carabajal of San Antonio, TX and Dustan Nyberg of Baxter, MN; daughter-in-law, Lynn Nyberg of Warner Robins, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Sharon (Frank) Shultz of Blaine, MN; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
