Russell Alan Christensen

Russell Alan Christensen, 54 of Pine River lost his battle with alcoholism Friday, January 31, 2025 at Lakewood Health System in Staples.  He was born August 2, 1970 the son of Carl and Deborah (Taylor) Christensen.  He grew up in Pine River where he enjoyed both summer fishing and ice fishing, canning and was a great cook.  Russell had a loving heart and cherished his family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother Deb.  Russell is survived by his daughter Kayla Hamilton;  sons: Ryder Christensen and Owen Erickson; two grandchildren; his father Carl; sister Mary Hanson; brother Jessen Alexander; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.  A special thank you to Russell’s great friends: Chery Halverson, Shawn Lesher and Vicki Hulke for all their care, love and support given to Russell.  May he find the peace in death that he couldn’t find in life.
