Terry Stanley Palm

Terry Stanley Palm, 75 of Aitkin went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 13, 2019.  He was born February 11, 1944 in Watertown, South Dakota to Stanley M. and Wilma H. (Rowe) Palm.  He graduated in 1963 from Billings West High School in Billings, MT.  He attended Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. graduating with a degree in Commercial Art.  Terry was united in marriage to Linda Irene (Pawlowski) on November 27, 1965 in Circle, MT.  He worked in advertising for 12 years in Montana and Colorado.  In 1979 he resigned as Advertising Director for a national firm and moved to Buyck, MN. to devote his time to painting.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting watercolors, and being with his grandkids.  He was a member of the Deerwood Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents: Stanley M. and Wilma H. (Rowe) Palm.

Terry is survived by his wife Linda Palm of Aitkin, MN.

3 sons and daughters-in-law: Jason (Cindy) Palm of Cook, MN.

Russell Palm of Eden Prairie, MN.

Henry (Jessica) Palm of Aitkin, MN.

2 daughters and sons-in-law: Cathi (Tim) Friesen of Moorhead, MN.

Karen (Shawn) Smith of Owatonna, MN.

17 grandchildren

1 brother and sister-in-law: Richard (Gina) Palm of Billings, MT.

Funeral service will be 11:00A.M. – Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Deerwood Baptist Church in Deerwood.  Pastor Wayne Skog will officiate.  Visitation will be 5 to 7P.M. Wednesday at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin and will continue 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Arrangements are with Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Aitkin.  www.srtfuneral.com
