Theodore "Ted" Clinton Anderson

Theodore “Ted” Clinton Anderson, 88, of Aitkin, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Golden Horizons of Aitkin. Ted was born in Ogilvie, MN on June 9, 1935 to Hilding and Ellen Anderson.  He was united in marriage to Shirley Nelson on September 1, 1956 in Maple Ridge, MN.  Ted was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his time with the family at the cabin.  He worked in the construction industry his entire career and could build or fix anything.  Ted was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

Ted is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roslyn, Curtis, Marbury, Virgil, Elwin and Vernon, sister Doris Oslund and son-in-law Michael Grego.

Ted is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Anderson; children, Craig (Mary Jo) Anderson, Chris (Theresa) Anderson and Michele Grego; grandchildren, Nick, Katie (Jeremy), Beth, Jackie, Carrie, and Angelina; great grandchildren, Harper, and Haizley; brother, Eugene; sister-in-law, Sylvia Anderson; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services for Ted will be 11:00am - Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Nordland Township, Aitkin County, MN.  Pastor Rebecca Hinz will officiate.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions are appreciated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, www.michaeljfox.org.
