Thomas Klingelhofer Obituary

Thomas Dean Klingelhofer, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, warmth, and a deep love for the outdoors. He was born March 4, `946 in Aitkin to Gordon and Bernice (Davies) Klingelhofer.  Tom was united in marriage to Mary Wilke on September 11, 1971 in Aitkin.  Tom worked 32 years of his life at the Aitkin Public Utilities as an operator.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Mary; his sons, Bart (wife Danah) and Luke (wife Amanda); and his cherished grandchildren, Maija, Bennett, Brice, and Lexi, who he was so proud of and who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sister, Linda. He was a pillar of strength for his family, creating countless memories that they will hold close to their hearts.

Tom lived life to the fullest through a wide array of hobbies. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and excitement in hunting and fishing across the local lakes and woods. He was also an enthusiastic cook, always eager to share a delicious meal and gather family and friends around the table.

His steadfast presence, gentle humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. As per Tom’s wishes, a private scattering of the ashes will be held by the family.
