Verna "Toots" Melissa (Flowers) Rogers

Verna “Toots” Melissa Rogers, 86, of Aitkin, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at her home.  She was born December 26, 1936 in St. Peter to George and Marian (Ely) Flowers.  Verna was united in marriage to Keith Clay Rogers on June 25, 1955 in Cleveland. 

Toots is preceded in death by her husband, Keith; her parents; great grandson, Castiel Henriksen; brother, Vernon Flowers; son-in-law, Stephen Knight; brother-in-law, Charles Pearson.

Toots is survived by her children, Marian (Mark) Mattke of East Bethel, Cherryl Knight of Princeton, David Rogers of Aitkin, Patty (Joe) Voller of Aitkin, Lois (Steven) Cole of South Range, Wisconsin and Lori Beam (daughter at heart); 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; siblings, Beulah (Kenneth) Westvig, Rollie (Ardis) Flowers, Judy Pearson and Gene (Vada) Flowers; sister-in-law, Lila Flowers.

Toots will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren extended family and many friends.
