Virginia "Ginger" Gail (Fisher) Donald

Virginia “Ginger” Gail Donald, 67, of Aitkin passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 in Riverwood Healthcare Center, Aitkin.  She was born September 9, 1952 in Grand Lake, Colorado to Lloyd and DeEtte Mae (Peckham) Fisher.  Ginger was united in marriage to James Donald.  After James’ passing, Ginger was united in marriage to Ray Hallett.  Ginger and Ray owned and operated Ray’s Boat Dock- Resort and R.V. Park on Mille Lacs Lake.  Ginger enjoyed crocheting, sewing, puzzles, reading, flowers, the color purple, decorating for Christmas and was an avid bowler who reached the State Women's Championships many times. Ginger loved growing up in the mountains of Colorado and she especially loved spending time with her family and friends.  Ginger will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Ginger is preceded in death by her first husband, James Donald; her parents; brother, Gerald Fisher; sister, Julia Harms.

Ginger is survived by her loving husband, Ray Hallett; children, Levi Donald, Max Donald, Raymond Hallett, Denise Dallas, Frank Hallett and Margaret Adams; grandchild, Jordan Dallas; brother, Virgil (Terry) Fisher; sister, Sharon Fisher; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Ginger’s Life will be held Saturday, September 19th from 1-5 PM at the Ray Hallett and Ginger Donald Residence.
