Virginia Catherine (Carroll) Johnson

Virginia Catherine Johnson, 77, of McGregor, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 in United Hospital, St. Paul.  She was born November 13, 1948 in Keewatin, MN to John and Virginia (Parker) Carroll.  Virginia was united in marriage to Bruce Johnson in September of 1970 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Virginia was a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and had her own crafting room.  She loved vacationing in Naples, Florida with her husband, Bruce.  Virginia was a terrific wife, mother and grandmother.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and James Carroll.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband, Bruce; children, Bob (Melissa) Johnson of Palisade, Gary (Jennifer) Johnson of St. Louis Park, Ken Johnson of Burnsville and Ted Johnson of Naples, Florida; grandchildren, Victoria (Mickey) Panger, Tyler (Elizabeth) Johnson, Charlie, Ellie, Marnie, Carter, Ali, Nate and Lily Johnson; great grandchild, Leo; siblings, Linda (Charles) Grigal, Laverne (Jeff) Rice, Laura (Bill) Wadd, Patrick (Ana) Carroll and Michael Carroll; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Friday, January 30 at 11 AM in Grace Lutheran Church, McGregor with Pastor Lorelie Robinson officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  A luncheon will follow at Big Sandy Lodge, McGregor.  Memorials are preferred to Big Sandy Lake  Association, PO Box 21, McGregor, MN 55760.  To leave a message of condolence, please visit:  www.srtfuneral.com.  Arrangements are with McGregor Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor.
