Wendy Michelle Wagner, 47, of Palisade, passed peacefully with her family by her side, August 1, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. She was born July 21, 1972 in Aitkin to Mike and Carol (Hubbard) Purdy. Everyone who knew Wendy saw she had a heart of gold! She was compassionate, kind, loving, caring, and always willing to help others. She always had time to listen, love, and give. Wendy was united in marriage to Wayne Wagner, Jr. on October 27th, 1990 at Hilltop Chapel, Palisade. Together they lived in the Aitkin area and raised 3 children. She was employed with the U.S. Postal Service. She enjoyed crafting, decorating for holidays, interior design, spending time with Wayne refurbishing furniture, gardening, painting, and wood burning and carving, but the times that she enjoyed most were spent with all of her grandchildren. She loved her family very much, and she was an amazing mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
