Westin Luke Justen

Westin Luke Justen, 18 of Aitkin died Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.  Westin was born November 29, 2003 in Crosby, Minnesota the son of David Joseph and Dana Rose (Miller) Justen. He has lived his whole life in Aitkin and was currently a senior at the Aitkin High School. He loved to fish and was a member of the Aitkin Anglers Fishing Team through High School.  He was also a member of the MLF(Major League Fishing), SAF(Student Angler Federation), St. James Catholic Church in Aitkin and worked at The Joint Restaurant. He was an avid deer hunter and gun enthusiast . He enjoyed learning history, listening to music, singing, driving his truck and snowmobiling. He loved to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his cousin Nic Justen

Westin is survived by his parents: David and Dana Justen of Aitkin;

Grandparents: Gary and Patty Miller of Aitkin and Don and Paula Justen of Remer; Aunts and uncles: Venessa and Dave Fiedler of Richfield, Jacob Miller and Angie Klemetson of Fargo, ND., Charlie Miller and Shannon Gallagher of Boston, Mass., Dan and Jen Justen of Brook Park, Jeremy and Dene’ Justen of Aitkin, Michael and Maggie Justen of Stillwater, Aimee and Mick Schmit of Cambridge, Paul and Erin Justen of Ramsey, Joy and Clinton Bridewell of Pierz, Maryrose and Shane Knutson of Pierz, and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial Mass will be 11AM - Friday, January 14, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church in Aitkin.  Fr. David Forsman and Fr. Marcus Milless will be
